Jamcouver

The Pacific Northwest’s quintessential skateboard contest, bringing 60 top skaters from across North America or a contest where creativity could earn them a share of a $10,000 prize purse.

In 2013 Jamcouver was part of the largest offshore fireworks display in North America bringing 300,000 people together over three days. Jamcouver began as an idea to promote creativity, art and culture in skateboarding and resulted in a day enjoyed by thousands of spectators and  the most pros to enter a contest in Canada in over a decade.

Competitive Skateboarding at its most creative - Jamcouver was a biannual flagship event (2011/2013) that began as an idea to bring creativity back to skateboarding, encourage inclusivity and spotlight Vancouver’s arts and culture segments in support of acquiring a permanent indoor facility for the wetter months in the city.
